PE & Sports Premium

Children at Longshaw are enthusiastic about PE and take part in PE lessons, led by our Sports Coach, twice a week. Within these lessons, children develop their skills in a range of areas including games, gymnastics, dance and athletics.

Longshaw also provides other opportunities for children across the school, to take part in sport through a variety of lunch time / after school clubs including Football, Netball, Multi-skills and gymnastics. We also run a popular after school Parent / pupil Zumba class which is well attended.
Our pupils enjoy representing and taking part in Waltham Forest School Sports Partnership led competitions.

Annually, the children take part in the school's Sports Day, which is a popular event amongst children, parents and staff. Children represent their House competing against one another.
