Extended Curriculum

As well as the day-to-day taught curriculum, we believe in the benefits of much wider and creative learning experiences.

These experiences may be trips to local areas of interest, visits from experts or projects such as the learning we do with the Waltham Forest Lifeskills project.

All of our classes benefit from taking part in a variety of  trips / visitors to complement learning. Pupils have visited The Science Museum, Tower of London, Imperial War Museum, The London Eye and Epping Forest.

Our curriculum is designed to provide a rich and varied programme of activities and learning experiences to meet the needs, interests and aspirations of all learners, within and beyond the school day. We encourage pupils to take part in wider events such as Meadow Song at Waltham Forest Town Hall; performance of Carmen at The Copper Box Theatre and Stroy Slam competitions.
